These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of mktrades (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The service

mktrades is a read-only analytics tool for crypto and equities. We connect to your accounts and wallets using read-only access and compute over 80 metrics — including a single portfolio score, risk scoring, scam flags, and sector discovery — to help you understand what your portfolio is actually doing. mktrades does not execute trades, hold funds, or take custody of your assets.

2. Not financial advice

mktrades is an informational and analytical tool only. Nothing in the Service is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. Markets — and crypto assets in particular — are volatile and you may lose money. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions, and you should seek independent professional advice where appropriate. We are not liable for any losses or decisions made on the basis of the Service.

3. Illustrative and simulated data

Any sample dashboards, previews, or demonstration figures shown on our website or within the Service are for illustration only and are simulated. They do not represent real holdings, real performance, or a guarantee of any outcome.

4. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Please tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

5. Read-only connections

You are responsible for the exchange and broker API keys and wallet addresses you connect. You agree to connect only read-only keys and to provide only public wallet addresses — never private keys or seed phrases. You can disconnect any connection at any time.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other users' data, or our systems.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Service, or scrape or reverse-engineer it.
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, scores, metrics, design, and content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. Your portfolio data remains yours.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that scores, metrics, scam flags, or any data will be accurate, complete, error-free, or uninterrupted — market and third-party data may be delayed or incorrect. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, or for any trading or investment losses arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Changes and termination

We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the “Last updated” date above. You may stop using the Service at any time, and we may suspend or terminate access where you breach these Terms or where reasonably necessary.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
